Neal Bhatia, MD, FAAD
Director Clinical Dermatology, Principal Investigator
Dr. Bhatia has extensive expertise in all facets of medical dermatology with an interest in the immunobiology of the skin. He has practiced medicine for over 20 years, and has served as Principal Investigator for numerous dermatological and aesthetic clinical studies.
Dr. Bhatia is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and has previously served as Vice President of the AAD through March 2022, as well as on the Board of Directors and multiple committees for the AAD. He was also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society, and is widely published and active in professional societies.

Aside from Dr. Bhatia's interest in clinical research, his main focus is patient care in all facets of dermatology.

Monique Torres, PA-C
Physician Assistant, Sub-Investigator
Monique is a Certified Physician Assistant and serves as the Sub-Investigator for all of the studies at TCR. Her career in clinical research began in 2005 at the Veterans Medical Research Foundation as a Sub-Investigator and Certified Physician Assistant. She continued to work in this capacity at the Profil Institute for Clinical Research and eStudySite; and has served as the Sub-Investigator for over 100 studies prior to joining TCR.
At TCR, she shares joint responsibility with the Principal Investigator for the safety of patients and appropriate conduct of studies to ensure they are compliant with Good Clinical Practices, FDA regulations, IRB regulations, and TCR’s high standards of practice.
Monique earned her Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University; and her Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and is currently ACLS and BLS certified

Geri Taitano
Sr. Administrative Coordinator/Scheduler
Geri Taitano is responsible for our front desk operations, and is our primary contact for patients, vendors and corporate guests. Geri greets all visitors, answers and routes phone calls. She also handles new patient registration intake, scheduling, private patient billing and also provides administrative help to staff.

Geri participates in the management of our building facilities, coordinating with various vendors for maintenance and repair. Supplies for the building, break room and general office, etc. are also coordinated and distributed by Geri.
Geri has an extensive background in transportation management. She has her Certificate of Completion in DOT HazMat General & Security Awareness and is responsible for any shipping of hazardous materials.

Avigail Cueto
Clinical Research Coordinator
Avigail Cueto is a dedicated coordinator at Therapeutics Clinical Research, bringing a wealth of experience to her role. With over six years in oncolytic and hematologic clinical research, she has successfully overseen more than 50 studies as a lead coordinator. Avigail excels in data entry, patient sourcing, patient education, and venipuncture, ensuring that each study runs smoothly and efficiently. Her commitment to patient care and research excellence makes her an invaluable asset to the Therapeutics Clinical Research team.

Hector Bailon
Clinical Research Coordinator
Hector serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Therapeutics Clinical Research. He is an International Medical Graduate from Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco, Tijuana Campus, which holds WFME accreditation. With his scientific background and over 5 years’ experience in over 50 studies, he brings expertise in all dermatologic and metabolic study trials.
At Therapeutics Clinical Research, he shares responsibility in preparing, organizing, and managing essential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and ICH/GCP guidelines in all clinical trials.

Paul Espinoza
Marketing & Recruitment Supervisor
Paul Espinoza is the Marketing and Recruitment Supervisor at Therapeutics Clinical Research. With over five years of experience in clinical research marketing and patient recruitment, Paul has successfully managed more than 75 studies. He oversees high-level marketing tasks, social media advertising, and collaborates with new sponsors during study start-up. A proud graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business, Paul is dedicated to evolving recruitment strategies to meet and exceed recruitment goals within sponsor timelines.
